Gabrielle Traub is a singer, actor, and dancer who has performed all over the US and currently resides right outside of New York City.
She is a classically trained soprano with a Bachelor’s and Masters in Voice Performance/Opera, with additional training in Musical Theatre performance and dance.
Until high school she always thought she’d be a ballerina, having trained since the age of three, but was so drawn to singing and theatre that she pivoted to train in voice and acting. Her feet are very thankful to this day.
Not only is Gabrielle an avid performer, she also works behind the scenes as a director, choreographer and stage manager.
While living in San Francisco she performed in a number of productions, both musical theater and opera. Notable performances include Cabaret (Lulu, Hillbarn Theatre) Chess (Custom Made Theatre), 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Olive Ostrovsky) Les Miserables and Kiss Me Kate (Broadway by the Bay). Opera: The Turn of the Screw (Flora, Opera Theater Unlimited), La Serva Padrona (Serpina, Livermore Valley Opera), Die Fledermaus (Adele).
